The wave of the current Internet and mathematics education hit,mathematics education technology has become the tool of improving students’ mathematical cognitive.As a modern mathematics education technology,graphing calculator is a platform of mathematics education in realizing mathematics knowledge and thinking visualization.The "ordinary high school mathematics currculum standard(experiment draft)" of our country points out,high school mathematics curriculum should advocate to present course content which is difficult to take on in the past teaching by using the information technology,to strengthen the combination of mathematics teaching and information technology.Derivative is one of the core concepts of calculus,it plays an important role in the problems such as functional monotonicity and the rate of change,and the link with the practical problems in life are closely.Construction of the concept of derivative and derivative geometric explanation are the students learning difficulties.But students always have misconceptions in understanding in the rate of change,definition of derivative,geometric meaning of derivative and derivative symbols.Graphing calculator as a modern handheld technology,with the functions such as data processing,graphics,simple programming,the application of it may benefit students in understanding derivative concept deeply from the combination of "number" and "form" and the image dynamic demonstration,abstracting the essence of derivative symbols,then highlighting the teaching difficult points and the teaching important points,enhancing the effectiveness of teaching.This research developed mainly from two aspects of theory research and practice research.In theoretical research,this study firstly outlined the study of the derivative in teaching and learning as well as the graphing calculator,then study the teaching principles of applying graphing calculator on the basis of the Bruner discovery method.the Constructivism theory and the Multi-representation concept:the principle of Teachers’ guiding and the student main body,the principle of learning first teaching behind and individualized instruction.and then according to the principle to set up the corresponding teaching strategies:①give someone fish,stimulate interest;②give someone happiness,focus on the classroom;③teach someone to fish,realize the ideas;④give someone desire,promote inquiry.In practice research,the teaching content of the integration of the graphing calculator and the derivative concept is applied into research on the teaching practice.Given priority to the teaching experiment,questionnaire is complementary,to discuss the influence of graphing calculator auxiliary derivative concept teaching on student’s mathematical epistemic beliefs and academic record.Research shows that:(1)The experimental class students’ math grades have improved significantly.(2)The experimental class students’ mathematics epistemic beliefs have improved significantly.(3)The experimental class students’ knowledge structure dimension and learning style dimension of mathematics epistemic beliefs have improved significantly. |
