Comparative Study Of China And Japan Endowment Insurance System

Aging of population is becoming the global problems.With many similarities of economic and culture,China and Japan are populous nations and enters into the aging society.In the future,China and Japan will step into super aging society.Comparing with the developed countries,Japan started late on social security system,but its social security system and Welfare policy developed rather rapidly because of high-speed economic growth.With many issues of social security system of Japan such as fast developing with aging population,long-lasting economic stagnation and deteriorating financial situation,Japanese government takes reformations about the system to confront the problems and gain great achievements.The core problem of endowment insurance system is provision for the aged.This paper is discussing all the relevant systems and measures of endowment insurance.No matter what kind of systems are,national systems,social non-profit organizations or traditional family supporting,they all belong to the endowment insurance systems.Therefore,with the comparative study of endowment insurance systems between China and Japan,this paper will focus on endowment insurance system,medical insurance system,nursing insurance system,Welfare system and Social endowment service,etc.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is the research objective and research significance.Second part elaborates the components and characters of china endowment insurance system and analyzes the problems and challenges that china must confront for better understanding the current situation of the system.Third part describes the components and characters of Japan endowment insurance system and analyzes the successful experiences and disadvantages of that system.The fourth part compares the endowment insurance systems between China and Japan from the management of old-age pension,social endowment service provision and health care and nursing services.The fifth part talks about enlightenment of china endowment system on the comparative study of those two different systems.This paper employs the comparative analysis methods to depict the current situation and problems that should be solved urgently of china endowment insurance system and elaborate the successful experiences and disadvantages of Japan endowment system.On the comparative study of those two systems,this paper is going to explore a proper china endowment insurance system in accordance with the China's national condition.
