Abstract/Summary:
Located in southeastern Hubei Province,Qichun County is under the governance the Huanggang City.Guanyao town is a part of Qichun.During the second year of the reign of Hongwu Emperor in Ming Dynasty(1369),the Guan surname opened pottery kiln production in Lantouji,and thus named Guanyao.In 2007,the handmade pottery art of Guanyao was listed in the intangible cultural heritage protection in Hubei Province.In recent years,the Qichun government has gradually intensified efforts to protect and develop the intangible cultural heritage,but the growth of the market exerted a great impact on traditional pottery techniques.Hence,a variety of materials replaced the traditional daily pottery,the traditional pottery industry market is shrinking,and traditional pottery techniques cannot hand over from generation to generation.Non-heritage culture became endangered not merely for the above reasons,but also a lack of school teaching.Restricted by local condition in rural primary and secondary school,teaching resources of art curriculum are extremely scarce in the actual teaching.If the handmade pottery art of Guanyao could be available in secondary school art teaching according to local conditions,art courses not only enrich local resources and form a unique art of teaching,but also carry forward Guanyao handmade pottery art,as intangible cultural heritage,to some extent.This paper is to study pottery art of Guanyao in Junior Middle school art teaching,which is divided into the following chapters.The first chapter describes some of the major research backgrounds,significance,research content,research status and research methods.The second chapter presents the history and development of Guanyao pottery art,pottery classification,mainly briefs pottery techniques.In the third chapter,the author made an investigation about current situation of the Guanyao pottery art applied in secondary schools through questionnaire concerned about local teachers and students.The fourth chapter is the author’s analysis of the Guanyao pottery importance to he high school art teaching.The fifth chapter gives the author of the pottery kiln tube development and utilization of specific processes and methods at the local high school art teaching.This chapter mainly made an analysis of data compilation for the establishment of the tube kiln pottery course teaching objectives,teaching content filter settings,the specific teaching methods,lesson plans and teaching process and the final teaching reflective teaching.The sixth chapter epilogues some experience of the author research,as well as insufficiency in this research.It is mostly involved in prospects and outlooks of the art course.
