A Study On Participation Motivation Of Students' Voluntary Service In Higher Vocational Colleges

In the new era,voluntary service has become one of the important means to improve the national governance ability and governance level.Voluntary service plays an increasingly important role in social construction.As an important group of voluntary service,vocational college students constantly spread the voluntary spirit with practical actions and write the story of Lei Feng in the new era with practical results.On the basis of previous studies and in accordance with the guiding spirit of relevant documents of voluntary service of the state and Jiangxi Province,based on the theory of demand level,achievement motivation and ERG,this paper divides the motivation of voluntary service into "professional motivation","achievement motivation","social motivation","practical motivation" and "group motivation" by using factor analysis method,and makes a random survey of Jiangxi Province In total,600 questionnaires and 514 effective questionnaires were sent out to students of three vocational colleges.SPSS.20 is used to analyze the present situation of Jiangxi Vocational College Students' participation in voluntary service and their motivation for participation in voluntary service.Descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA were used to verify the relationship between individual influencing factors(gender,grade,political outlook,student cadre identity,family type),external environmental influencing factors(material reward,social support,voluntary publicity,voluntary training)and higher vocational students' motivation for voluntary service participation,And the linear regression equation is used to test.In addition,on the basis of the questionnaire,8 vocational college students were interviewed,and the contents of the interview were sorted out.Analysis of survey results: Achievement motivation is the primary motivation for vocational college students to participate in voluntary service;Practical motivation is the initial motivation for vocational college students to participate in voluntary service;Empathy is an important psychological support for vocational college students to participate in voluntary service.it is found that there are significant differences in grade,political outlook,student cadre identity,social recognition,voluntary publicity,voluntary service training and voluntary service participation motivation in general;there are no significant differences in gender,material reward and family type in general.Social support has a positive effect on career motivation and achievement motivation;voluntary publicity has a positive effect on social motivation and achievement motivation;voluntary training has a positive effect on practical motivation and career motivation,and a negative effect on group motivation.Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward.First,to improve the understanding of volunteers' service motivation.Second,strengthen the public opinion guidance of voluntary service.Third,improve the training mechanism of voluntary service.Fourth,we should give full play to the guiding role of Party members.Fifthly,build excellent projects of volunteer service.Sixth,introduce professional methods of social work.Seventh,create a voluntary incentive mechanism.
