University Volunteer Service Team Participates In Supporting Education In Poor Mountain Areas

Based on the current situation of poor economic development in China’s impoverished mountainous areas,relatively convenient traffic,and a relative lack of educational resources,more and more college students can actively respond to the country’s call and become a member of the education team by joining volunteer service teams to devote themselves to the education in those underdeveloped regions.Compared with traditional forms of supporting education,the more difficult tests in the process of supporting education in poor mountainous areas can better reflect the sense of mission and social responsibility of college students.The university volunteer service team will play an irreplaceable role in this process by virtue of its own advantages.With the university volunteer team as a platform,the extensive participation of volunteers can effectively improve the quality of education in poor mountainous areas.This can not only meet the national strategic needs of targeted poverty alleviation and targeted poverty elimination to a certain extent,but also meet the needs of social development at this stage.Through investigation and research on the current situation of volunteer service teams of China University of Mining and Technology in participating in supporting education in poor mountainous areas,it is pointed out that its development has rigid organizational structure,inflated upper-level power,unclear planning and design,single recruitment channels,irregular pre-support training,and incomplete assessment content problems such as lack of security and funding guarantees,and insufficient motivation for organizational development.The reasons for these problems are multifaceted.Through a systematic analysis of the causes of these problems,it is pointed out that it is necessary to improve the volunteer service teams of colleges and universities to participate in the development of support services in poor mountainous areas,which needs colleges and universities to guide and college volunteer service teams and to improve their organization and construction.Specific measures include deadministrating the organization,strengthening organizational supervision,and building a work system.These measures make the volunteer team structure more reasonable and management more efficient.Measures such as broadening recruitment channels,strengthening pre-education professional training,and improving the evaluation mechanism can further standardize organizational operations and reasonably restrict the behavior of volunteer teams;by improving security mechanisms and broadening funding channels and improving incentives,volunteer service teams can further improve the security and funding mechanisms to strengthen the incentive effectiveness,strengthen organizational guarantee.By improving the organizational construction,standardizing the operation of the organization,and strengthening the guarantee of the organization,the volunteer service teams of colleges and universities can better promote their participation in the support services for poor mountainous areas.The paper has 7 pictures,5 tables,and 86 references.
