Copyright Protection Of News Works In The Context Of The Development Of Convergence Media

The rapid development of information network technology has brought new vitality to the news industry.The opening of the media era has given the news industry a chance to develop again.News works,as the core content product of the news industry,play an important role in the development of the whole industry.However,due to the rapid change of technology and the long time period of copyright law amendment in China,etc,At the same time,the copyright protection of news works is relatively backward.Although there are relevant legal systems for copyright protection in China,and various departments and the news industry have carried out some activities to protect the rights themselves,there are still many violations of the copyright of news works,and with the development of the era of financial media,there are more ways of infringement and more concealment.Through reading and studying the existing literature and referring to some practical cases,we find the following problems: first of all,the current legal system of copyright in our country is not perfect enough,and the specific standards of infringement identification,the calculation of compensation amount and the current way of safeguarding rights are all out of touch with the current era of financial media;second,the use of news works and the related benefits The profit distribution between subjects still keeps the operation mode of the early stage of Internet development,and with the continuous expansion of the voice power of network operators,when distributing profits,they have higher profits than the news creators of the production content,and the news creators have little profits from it;finally,the authorization form of news works is still relatively old,and the authorization method is relatively inefficient,and it is difficult to produce higher profits Use value.All of these bring hidden dangers to the copyright protection of news works in the era of media integration.By learning from some advanced experience at home and abroad,this paper attempts to strengthen the copyright protection of news works in the context of the development of the financial media from the following aspects: first,further improve the existing legal system,redefine the standards for determining the infringement of news copyright,the calculation of compensation,and establish more effective channels for safeguarding rights;second,reconstruct the copyright owner and network services Finally,improve the form of authorization of news works,through the authorization platform or professional copyright agency.
