Research On Social Work Practice Of Social Support For Elderly Living Alone In Rural Areas

Large-scale floating population has played an important role in China’s economic development and social progress.However,the young and strong rural workers are forced to go out for work for a living,the aging degree is increasing year by year,the population structure is changing,and the problem of elderly people living alone in rural areas is becoming increasingly obvious.As one of the vulnerable groups of the elderly,the elderly living alone in rural areas bear heavy burdens in production and life,and face multiple difficulties in life care,spiritual consolation,medical care and other aspects,and lack of social support to varying degrees.In this paper,through literature research,field investigation and visit to deeply understand the status quo of social support for the elderly living alone in rural areas,the author found that most of the elderly living alone in rural areas are facing psychological,disease,economic and other problems.It is concluded that the elderly living alone in the investigated rural areas generally have the following characteristics: first,the elderly living alone for a long time in the rural areas,lack of the company of relatives,the heart is easy to feel lonely and self-abasement,longing for love,longing for communication and communication with others.Second,the reasons for the elderly living alone in rural areas are complex,most of which are related to the tension between family members and unexpected events.Third,the life of the rural elderly living alone is not only miserable and monotonous,but also for their own life.Fourth,the rural elderly living alone for a long time,because of old helplessness and helplessness,in the face of a variety of life trifles are easy to lose confidence in the elderly life.According to the old people who live alone to save the status quo of social support,summarizing and analyzing the reality of rural old people who live alone and real life needs,looking for the current social support degree of support for the rural old people who live alone,and to explore in the field investigation and study of ruralliving alone old people need the joint relationship between social support and life,looking for supplement and perfect path.The case work is carried out to consolidate and improve the social support of the service object by combining with the specific cases of the elderly living alone in rural areas,and the real problems of the service object are evaluated by observing the detailed performance of the service object in real life,and special social work services are provided to the service object based on the principle of individualization of social work.Finally,it summarizes the ability and possibility of rural elderly living alone to obtain formal and informal social support resources,and reflects on the experience and shortcomings of social work to consolidate and improve the practical research on social support for rural elderly living alone.
