Research On The Influence Of Farmers' Social Economic Status On The Participation Of Village Committee Election

With the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and the implementation of rural grassroots democracy construction,the village committee election,which is an important form of peasant political participation,has been given a new era connotation.However,it is undeniable that the construction of democracy and the rule of law in rural areas still faces a series of problems and challenges.The peasants voted to elect village committee members,which is the core content of village self-government.The extent and level of peasants' participation in village committee elections reflects the development level of village self-government to some extent.The peasants' social and economic status is different,and their village committee elections The level of participation is also different.Therefore,based on the big data of CSS2017,this paper discusses the influence of farmers' social economic status on their participation in the election and willingness to participate in the village committee's social economic status,and proposes some countermeasures to improve the participation of village committee elections.Suggest.First of all,combined with domestic and foreign literature on socio-economic status and participation in the election of village committees,the indicators of farmers' socio-economic status and participation in village committee elections are identified: the social and socio-economic status of farmers includes subjective socio-economic status and objective society.Economic status,objective social economic status can be divided into three dimensions: income,education level and work status.The election of the village committee includes participation in the election of the village committee and willingness to participate.Secondly,on the basis of descriptive statistics,this paper constructs a binary logistic regression model to empirically analyze the influencing factors of farmers' participation in the election of village committee.The results show that in the regression analysis of the village committee election participation behavior,the education level,working conditions and subjective socio-economic status of farmers have a significant positive impact on the village committee election participation behavior,while the individual income of farmers has no significant impact on the village committee election participation behavior.In the regression analysis of the willingness to participate in the election of village committee,the education level of farmers has a significant positive impact on the willingness to participate,the personal income of farmers has a significant negative impact on the willingness to participate,and the working conditions and subjective socio-economic status of farmers have no significant impact on the willingness to participate.Finally,based on the empirical analysis of the factors that affect the participation of farmers' village committee in the election,the paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions: vigorously develop rural education,cultivate participatory citizen culture;develop agriculture according to local conditions,increase farmers' income;cultivate farmers' democratic and legal awareness.
