Research On Current Situation And Path Optimization Of Current Political Education For College Students

As an important information resource for college students to grasp the pulse of the times,understand the international and domestic development trends and adapt to social development,current affairs politics plays an irreplaceable role in broadening students’ horizons and improving students’ political literacy.At present,China’s development has entered a new era.Major social contradictions have changed and the country’s development is facing new challenges.College students are precious human resources and the backbone of the country’s future development.Facing the new task and situation of national development,strengthening the current affairs and political education of college students and strengthening their socialist beliefs are the inevitable trend of the development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,as well as the inevitable requirement for the cultivation of socialist talents.Current affairs politics has distinct political,flexible,cutting-edge and comprehensive characteristics.It is a high-quality educational resource to realize the national talent training goal,improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in schools,and promote students’ individual all-round development.Based on the empirical research on the current situation of college students’ attention to current affairs and politics and the current situation of current affairs and politics education in colleges and universities,this paper finds that the main factors affecting the current affairs and politics education of college students are the complexity of current affairs and politics education contents,the uneven political attainments of teachers,the utilitarian learning of students,and the lack of guidance in the school environment.According to the above factors,starting from the three major parts of education:education subject,education object and education influence,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to strengthen the current political education of college students.First of all,in terms of educational content,timely update and select appropriate materials;Secondly,as the main body of education,teachers should constantly update their knowledge reserves andimprove their professional qualities.Thirdly,we should set up an incentive mechanism for political study of current events and organize relevant social practice activities to stimulate the learning motivation of the educational objects.Finally,through the improvement of the school’s current affairs and political education system and mechanism,the professional construction of teaching staff,and the establishment of the campus current affairs and political network platform,a good current affairs and political education environment is created.
