The legal system has long been an effective way to maintain social order by reflecting the needs of society over a period of time.With the continuous progress and development of big data application technology in modern society,the application of face recognition technology in the public domain has become an inevitable trend,and the corresponding legal regulation of face recognition technology in the network environment has also become a necessary criterion to reflect the social needs and guide the face recognition technology to a standard.The first chapter is about the challenges of face recognition and application technology to privacy protection.This chapter first analyzes the concept of face recognition.As the Internet and technology progress,human face recognition technology brings convenience for the society,the traditional concept of privacy has been changed,due to facial recognition technology under the network environment at the same time the saved personal biological information vulnerable to steal,abuses,such as,made by individual biological information privacy protection has become a problem to be solved by facial recognition technology application.Then the conflict between face recognition technology and privacy protection is analyzed.This paper analyzes the relationship between face recognition technology and privacy protection to explore why face recognition technology will invade personal privacy.The first is the internal cause of the intrinsic value of face information.The second is due to the weak awareness of privacy protection,the imperfect self-discipline system of the industry and the lack of laws related to face recognition and other external reasons.The third chapter,the system model of privacy protection in face recognition and its enlightenment to China.In the west,the development and application of face recognition technology is relatively early,and the legal regulation of face recognition technology is relatively complete and advanced.This chapter analyzes and refines the privacy protection system suitable for China’s nationalconditions through the regulation model represented by the European Union and the United States.The fourth chapter is about the path of privacy protection in face recognition application in China.This chapter,by summing up the regulatory experience outside the region,explores the best way to realize privacy protection in the application of face recognition technology in China.Firstly,a special law was established to regulate the privacy protection of face recognition technology.Secondly,a standardized and effective industry self-discipline system was established to improve the privacy protection awareness of individuals.The privacy right in the application of face recognition technology was protected from three aspects.
