Research On Township Government Creditability Enhancement Path From The Perspective Of Social Capital Theory

Social capital is a kind of cooperation network,with the specific social guidance of based on trust.Township government creditability is the ability to obtain villagers' understanding,support and satisfaction by its own resources,information publication and governance capacity.Government creditability show the situation that central government is high and local government is low,and is popular among scholar and government field.From the social background of township government creditability,the paper follows the line “theory---quantitative---path”,tries to find a proper path to enchance township government creditability from the perspective of social capital theory.First,defines relevant concepts: social capital and township government creditability;illustrates the research content of significance,meeting points;explains the way social capital influence township government creditability and their logical relations.Second,raises the corresponding research hypotheses,by 258 copies of questionnaire from the sample of 12 towns in Hunan and Jiangxi provincial old revolutionary base areas,structural equation model is established.We get the conclusion that positive relationship between the two concepts.Third,the existing problems of social capital and township government creditability in towns from interview is analysed.The reasons why township government creditability is weakened is discussed from the perspective of social capital.Finally,we propose several feasible paths to enhance township government creditability.(1)From normative captial: institutional construction,governance by law and idea transformation;(2)From structural capital: information publication,nongovernmental organization and communication platform;(3)From relational capital: efficiency improvement,economic idea and work attitude.
