During the reign of emperor jiajing of the Ming dynasty,White Lotus believers entered tumed successively,and their activities were relatively active.They experienced the transition from the jiajing dynasty,which was appointed by the altan khan,to the longqing dynasty,which was transferred to the Ming dynasty as a traitor.On the one hand,they guide the altan khan infestation the Ming dynasty border,intensified the conflict between the two sides;On the other hand,it played an important role in the settlement of the "Bagha-achi event",which objectively promoted the establishment of "altan tribute" and mutual market.Studying the activities of this group provides a new perspective for exploring the relationship between Ming and Mongolia in the jiajing and longqing reign,and has practical significance for how to deal with the relationship between the nation and the state.The main content of this paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds and explains the policies of the White Lotus and Ming andMongolian on the White Lotus in the jiajing and longqing reign;The second chapter firstly reviews and summarizes the time,reasons why the White Lotus believers entered tumed and the activities and characteristics that led to the intrusion of altan khan on The Ming dynasty border,In the historical records,there were a total of 19 times,such as Zhao Quan and other white lotus leaders,who inquired about intrusion into the Ming Dynasty border.Secondly,they also explained the increase and development of the number of people in the Bansheng;The third chapter mainly discusses the impact of the white lotus believers upon entering tumed from the positive and negative aspects,affirming that they objectively promoted the development of tumed and turned the relationship between Ming and Mongolia from tension to peace.
