At present,problems of low job satisfaction,lack of career identity,great job burnout and confusion in the young police of Guangdong W prison are becoming increasingly serious.These lead to lots of resignations and transfer which influences the work efficiency and even brings potential threat to the prison.How to solve these problems? The solution of practical problems needs to be guided by theory,so comes the study of “career management”.The article takes the young policemen's career management of Guangdong W prison as a study object.Firstly,consulting relevant documents of career management,sorting out the development of theory,and outlining the theory of person-job fit,double factor,career development stage.All those are the theoretical foundation of the study.Secondly,the article describes and analyses the basic information of the young policemen of Guangdong W prison and the relevant system of career management.Problems of career management at present are discovered through survey on the effects of the young policemen's career management of Guangdong W prison by questionnaires and deep analysis by interviewing method.They are weak awareness of occupational planning,low degree of professional management,backward classify management,un-scientific training system,lagging performance appraisal system,disadvantage of the promotion system,low professional identity etc.To find out the reason,the article conducts analysis on the factor of historical tradition,organization,culture and society.It discusses the necessity of developing Guangdong W prison's career management on young policemen with the relevant reference and enlightenment from China and abroad.It raises the measures and suggestions of building career management concept,improving professionalism,establishing classified development route,perfecting education and training system,setting more scientific performance appraisal system,building fair competition promotion system,strengthening career identity.The study of this article has great maneuverability and practicability.The scientific career management will push the prison to build up good talent training mechanism which would become the positive incentives for the young policemen and assist them to grow and mature quickly.At the same way,it can help the prison to train and retain the staff,and brings innovation,upgrading and development to the prison work.Finally achieving a win-win goal of organizational goals and personal values.
