Study Of China’s Jury System Based On The Law Of The People’s Republic Of China On Jurors

Although the jury system is an imported in China,it has been in China for many years.The jury system,which is not a new rule or development,has been practiced so many years in Chinese courts.It was pointed out that the people’s jury system should be perfected,the right of citizens to join the trial should be ensured,the range of participation in trial should be expanded,the method of random selection should be perfected in order to advance the credibility of the people’s jury system according to the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee.Therefore,combining with the new laws and the history of the development of foreign countries,this paper will conclude the development,characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of the jury system.The conclusion may enrich the researches of the jury system and provide some reference for the future research.Besides the introduction and conclusions,the full text is divided into four chapters.The introduction introduces the background,research significance,research methods,and the current situation of the jury system at home and abroad and the innovation of this paper.The first chapter mainly introduces the exterior of jury system,including the past and the present situation of jury system.Several representative countries are selected to introduce and analyze in order to research the advantages and disadvantages of jury system.The second chapter introduces the functions and advantages of China’s jury system.In the third chapter,introduces the problems of China’s jury system.In the fourth chapter,the paper provides some suggestions and solutions according to the above problems.
