With the rise of China and India,China-India relations have become an important factor influencing the peace and stability of the international community and the future direction of international relations in the 21 st century.After the Financial Crisis in 2008,the world entered the Post-financial Crisis Era,and India constantly adjusted its policy towards China in accordance with the domestic and international situation.Among these factors,India has stability in its understanding of geostrategic competition,its desire for political power,and its motivation for national interests.Therefore,China is still regarded as the most important neighbor,the largest competitor and the main economic and trade partner;On the other hand,factors such as the international environment,strength comparison,change of government and cognition of China have made India’s China policy constantly changing.After the Financial Crisis,India is more inclined to use soft checks and balances to hedge China’s development with Act East policy,Indo-Pacific Strategy and Mausam plan.From the perspective of the history of the development of China-India relations,the continuation and change of India’s China policy have complicated objective reasons and profound cognitive changes,and these factors are always running through India’s Look East Policy and Indo-pacific Strategy.Therefore,based on the historical relationship between China and India,this dissertation analyzes the objective reasons and cognitive changes that lead to the continuation and change of India’s China policy in the Post-Financial Crisis Ara,and tries to recognize the changing factors and look for the law in the unchanging factors.Thereby grasping India’s overall attitude and policy direction towards China.
