Research On The Current Situation And Control Of Drug Crime In Guiyang City

Since the Opium War in the late Qing Dynasty,drugs began to spread on a large scale on China’s land,bringing great pain and disaster to the Chinese people.Today,China has already achieved national independence and prosperity,but the drug problem remains.Drug crime has become a national problem,which seriously affects the country’s long-term stability and people’s well-being.Our country has always taken an attitude of never tolerating and striking down drug crimes,but the situation of drug crimes in China is still not optimistic.Guizhou Province is close to the "Golden Triangle","Golden Crescent" and other unique geographical location,as well as a long history of opium cultivation,which makes the drug crime problem in Guizhou Province has been more serious.Guiyang City is the capital city of Guizhou Province.The negative impact of drug crimes can not be ignored.Starting from the objective situation of Y District in Guiyang City,this paper takes the drug crimes handled by Y District Procuratorate from 2013 to 2017 as the research sample,adopts the way of on-the-spot investigation,and studies the current situation and control situation of drug crimes in Y District of Guiyang City.In order to accurately grasp the current situation of drug crimes in Y District of Guiyang City,and find out the problems in drug crimes control in Y District,finally put forward my own suggestions on drug crimes control in Y District.This paper is divided into five parts.The first is the introduction,which consists of three parts: the reason for selecting the topic,the significance of the research,the current research situation,the research ideas and methods.The first chapter is the basic situation of drug crime investigation in Y District of Guiyang City.It mainly includes the basic situation of the research sites,the reasons for choosing the research sites,the research process and the research methods.The second chapter is the datacollation and analysis of drug crime investigation in Y District of Guiyang City,mainly from the following five aspects: the acceptance and trend of drug crime;the analysis of drug types involved;the information statistics of drug crime subjects;the statistics of drug crime types;the statistics of sentencing period of drug crime subjects.Combining the chart with the data,we can intuitively show the real and objective situation of drug crimes in Area Y.The third chapter mainly studies the problems of drug crime control in Area Y.According to the analysis of the survey data,the main problems in drug crime control in Area Y are: more recidivists of drug crime;serious feminization of drug crime subjects;increasing difficulty of solving cases caused by the escalation of drug crime means;prominent problem of zero-package drug trafficking;and serious problem of synthetic drugs flooding.Chapter IV is the author’s suggestions for the improvement of drug crime control in Area Y,which include three steps: heavy control,anti-relapse,grasping and resettlement to solve the problem of drug crime subject’s recidivism;"propaganda,education and security" to curb female drug crime;to improve drug detection rate from both personnel and technology;three Ways to Curb the Spread of Synthetic Drugs.We should take more measures to crack down on drug trafficking in small packages at the same time.
