The Children's Welfare Institute is an institution established by the Chinese government to provide shelter and nourishment for the children who are temporarily unable to find a parent or a parent or a parent or guardian or relative who has given up custody and under the age of 18.Therefore,most of the children in the welfare homes are abandoned children. Therefore,in children's welfare homes, most children are abandoned children. At present, the Children's Welfare Institute pays more attention to the abandonment of children only in life and learning, and does not pay sufficient attention to its psychological level. In fact, apart from facing difficulties in life and study, the abandoned children of the welfare homes face the psychological dilemma of being an abandoned child who lives in a welfare home.Compared with other children with normal families, these abandoned children are more faced with a series of problems caused by lack of recognition of their own identity, such as inferiority, sensitivity, lack of belonging to the welfare home. The study found that only by truly accepting its abandonment attribute, recognizing the collective identity of the welfare institution and social identity, will it truly enhance their identity.Social work, especially in group social work, can play an active role in promoting the identity of adolescent children. There are many studies on identity in the academic circles, but there are few studies on the identity of adolescent children. However, the abandonment of young children is more concerned with the orphans themselves, but there is little attention to the group of “abandoned children”.This article takes the X welfare institution to abandon children as the research object, and uses the combination of literature research and field research to take the X-faculty “Identity,Healthy Growth” group as a research case and the identity of the group working in the abandonment of children.Identify and reflect on the use of identity improvement. This article is divided into five parts:The first part mainly discusses the origin, purpose, significance, related literature review at home and abroad, concept definition, theoretical basis of research, research methods and practical methods. The second part is the basic situation of the case study. It mainly introduces the general situation of Bijie City, the basic situation of X Welfare Institute and the status quo of the identity of the abandoned children and children of X Welfare Institute. The study found that adolescent children are sensitive to their own abandonment and inferiority;they have rejection of collective identity,a poor sense of belonging to welfare institutions, and lack of recognition of social identity. The third part is the specific application of the group work in the promotion of the identity of adolescent children. It mainly includes the selection of team members, the establishment ofprofessional goals, specific plans and program design;the specific process and effect description of the group's initial stage,medium-term transition stage, late maturity stage and final stage group;and the process evaluation and result evaluation of the group. The fourth part is the thinking about the group work in the application of the abandonment of the identity of children. This section focuses on the analysis of the success of the team's work.It is believed that the concentration and listening of the staff in the group can make the team members feel the concern and respect;the combination of the team members' expectations and the group goals can promote The group as a whole moves toward the goal;it also emphasizes that the team members should be trusted in the group and fully exploit the potential of the team members.Secondly,it analyzes the shortcomings of the group's development, and believes that there are problems such as insufficient social work experience, weak professional skills, inadequate design of group service plans and follow-up development of group services.Suggestions for further improving the professionalism and practical ability of social workers, improving service plans and contents, following up and returning work of group members, and strengthening communication between schools and welfare institutions. The fifth part is the conclusion part, which summarizes the full text. The study found that the work of the group can effectively enhance the identity of abandoned children.
