Study On The Living Vulnerability Of Urban Marginal Groups With Low Social Security

With the vigorous development of poverty alleviation and precise poverty alleviation work,the results of poverty alleviation work in various areas are remarkable.The number of poverty in our country has been greatly reduced,especially in rural areas.Its change is very obvious,and the quality of life is getting higher and higher.However,not only does poverty exist in rural areas,but also in urban areas.There are also a large number of people in need of help.Therefore,when we study and solve the problem of poverty alleviation,we should not only support the countryside,but also the city.Some retired and laid-off workers in cities belong to one of the groups in need of assistance.With the deepening of reform and opening-up and the development of market economy,they are out of the track of the original unit system,without the protection of the iron rice bowl,without the shelter of the unit system,their knowledge and skills can not meet the needs of the market,and their livelihood and survival conditions will be affected to a certain extent.Through the study of this group,it will be helpful to other vulnerable groups in the city,and has far-reaching significance for the healthy,stable and orderly development of society.From the perspective of livelihood capital,this paper studies the marginal groups of urban minimum living allowance,which is helpful to deeply analyze the historical causes of their living difficulties and the future trend of development and change,to dynamically examine the problem of poverty,and to make forward-looking policy recommendations.Through questionnaires and field interviews,according to the characteristics of the respondents,this paper constructs an index system for quantitative analysis of livelihood capital of urban marginal families,which mainly includes four categories: human capital,material capital,financial capital and social capital.It classifies and refines the indicators of the four types of capital,and studies the livelihood of urban marginal groups by combining qualitative and quantitative methods.Considering the vulnerability,and according to the existing livelihood capital of the group,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the plight of the marginal groups of the urban minimum living standard in community X.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)On the whole,among the four types of livelihood capital of the marginal groups in X community,social capital is the highest,followed by financial capital,then material capital,and the poorest is human capital.(2)The diamond-shaped livelihood capital structure of urban marginal groups is unstable,and the value of various livelihood capital is low and unsustainable.(3)By measuring the livelihood capital of the marginal groups of the urban low-income group,three characteristics of the vulnerable livelihood of the group are summarized,namely,the lack of livelihood capital,the limited ability to convert livelihood capital,and the unbalanced structure of livelihood capital.(4)Based on the above findings and studies,the potential risks and practical impacts of livelihood vulnerability of urban marginal groups are analyzed.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions to reduce the vulnerability of livelihood for the marginal groups of X community,and puts forward comprehensive suggestions from three aspects of individuals,society and the state,so as to make the group sustainable development.
