A Comparative Study Of The Organizational Construction Of The Communist Party Of China And The Kuomintang In Qingdao (1921-1949)

Before the founding of the People's Republic of China,the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang were two major political parties in China,in order to consolidate their own domination,they established Party organizations in many places.Qingdao is a place for many competing parties,it is urgent for the Kuomintang and the Communist Party to establish Party organizations in Qingdao.Therefore,with the spread of Marxism and the change of China's social situation,the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang have successively established party organizations in Qingdao.Before the founding of the People's Republic of China,the Qingdao Party organizations of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party had developed to varying degrees,and finally embarked on different historical paths.There are many reasons why the Kuomintang and the Communist Party are heading for different historical paths.Among them,the party organization plays an important role in the development of the party.The future and destiny of a party are closely related to the operation of the party organization.In this paper,the two party organizations as a starting point,the organization structure of the party organizations,the composition of Party members,organizational discipline and propaganda work are analyzed,found that there are some similarities,but more are many differences:for example,in terms of organizational structure,the CPC Party organizations are more in-depth at the grass-roots level,while the KMT Party Organizations are more only staying at the upper level;In terms of membership,the CPC members are mainly workers and peasants,while the KMT members are mainly intellectuals and other upper classes;in terms of organizational discipline,the CPC has more stringent organizational discipline,while the KMT has more loose organizational discipline;in terms of propaganda work,the CPC's propaganda work is more effective,and the KMT's propaganda workers are more effective.It is precisely because of the differences between the two that the Kuomintang and the Communist Party have embarked on different paths.History is the best textbook.By comparing the organization construction of the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang in Qingdao before the founding of the People's Republic of China,we can know the reasons why the Communist Party of China has gone to victory and the Kuomintang has gone to failure,and give valuable lessons and practical enlightenment to the Party building work in the new era.
