The Study On Autonomy Of Young Pioneers In Their Activities

“Strong young men make a strong country,wise young men make a wise country,rich young men make a rich country and independent young men make an independent country.” Youth is the backbone of the nation.In the face of this complex world,independence,self-reliance and dialectical thinking are not only the requirements and trend of the new era for contemporary teenagers,but also the inner need of children themselves.The Young Pioneers serve as the main land for young children to learn socialism,also serve as the mass organization for young children to be masters of their own affairs,which can respect the principal position of children to the greatest extent and stimulate the autonomous power of children.The "soul" of the Young Pioneers--the activities have irreplaceable advantages in the cultivation of the autonomous ability of the members.The autonomous ability of young pioneers referred to in this study was a kind of "semi-autonomous" under the guidance of adults,in which team members conduct collective democratic management and individual implement own development.This ability was composed of four core elements: independent consciousness,intention to self-government,self-determination and self-reflection,and two performance dimensions:collective autonomy and individual autonomy.Of course,the formation and development of young pioneers’ autonomous ability not only dependon the scientific training of counselors,but also need the strong support of Young Pioneers’ activities to provide internal motivation and external support.Although the status and development of Young Pioneers have been greatly improved compared with the past,and the quantity and quality of its activities are also increasing.There are still some hidden problems in the cultivation of the team members’ autonomous ability,which are mainly manifested in four aspects: the lack of children’s position in the activities,the deviation of the adult guidance’s concept of autonomy,the weak autonomy of the activity system and the low effectiveness of the counselors’ guidance.Depend on those conditions and problems above,this study put forward such optimization countermeasures: Guided by the concept of "semi-autonomy",improve the quality of autonomous activities,strengthen the professional quality of counselors,stimulate the internal motivation of team members’ autonomy and guarantees external support.In the end,it is expected to promote the effective implementation of autonomous ability training of young pioneers,enrich the research level in the field of Young Pioneers,and help children to meet the challenges of the future society.
