Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Community Governance In Pengze County

Community is a basic component of urban society.There are differences in social functions of different times,countries and communities.After the reform and opening up,the functions of urban communities in China have changed fundamentally.Their main functions have gradually changed from social control and urban management to public services and social organizations.Will be stable.Under the current situation,the social harmony and stability,the improvement of residents’ quality of life and the construction of modern cities are all in urgent need of diversified ways of community governance.It is of great significance to solve the problems existing in community governance.Therefore,on the basis of summarizing the relevant research status,concepts and theories of community governance,this study discussed the development stage,governance mode and existing problems of community governance in China,analyzed the characteristics and problems of community governance in Pengze County,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to solve the existing problems of community governance in Pengze County.This study consists of six parts.The first part mainly elaborates the purpose and significance of Pengze County’s community governance model,the related research progress of community governance model at home and abroad,and introduces the content and methods of this study.The second part defines the concepts of community and community governance,and elaborates the theoretical basis.The third part analyses the development process and basic model of community governance in China.The fourth part analyses the characteristics and problems of community governance in Pengze County;the fifth part is the countermeasures and suggestions of community governance in Pengze County;the sixth part elaborates the key conclusions and deficiencies of this study.Finally,this study finds that there are still some problems in Pengze County’s community governance,such as the confusion of government and community functions,the strong dependence of the community on the government,the lack of overall coordination of administrative responsibilities,the heavy burden of community governance and the difficulty of community integration of social organizations,the lack of access to governance power,the lack of funds for community governance,and the insufficient specialization of professional social workers.On this basis,in view of the existing problems of community governance in Pengze County,this study puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions,such as cultivating the main body of community governance,reducing the dependence of the community on the government;strengthening the representativeness of community residents’ committees,reducing the burden of community governance;introducing community social governance organizations to encourage community autonomy;establishing community public welfare foundations to enhance the professional level of social workers.
