A Study On Strengthening The Supervision And Restriction Of The People’s Congeess On Government Power In The New Era

Power is an ancient and eternal topic,which promotes the continuous change of dynasties,pushes forward the great wheel of human history,and causes heavy suffering to the people.How to restrict public power to protect people’s private rights has become a major issue being discussed all over the world.After the Communist Party of China led the people to victory in the revolution,it established the people’s government and the people’s sovereign state.How to better limit the government’s public power to protect people’s rights and ensure the long-term stability of the country has become the primary task of the Communist Party of China.While learning from the experiences and lessons of other countries,the Communist Party of China has established the people’s congress system in accordance with the fundamental principles of Marxism-Leninism and the national conditions of our country,so as to realize the people’s ownership of the country.The great achievements made on the fortieth anniversary of reform and opening up have proved the superiority of the system of the People’s Congress.Therefore,the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Party clearly points out that the system of the People’s Congress should be upheld,developed and perfected.However,the system of the People’s Congress in China is still restricted by many factors in the process of practice,and has not fully and effectively played its due role.How to promote the work of the people’s congresses at all levels more effectively and give full play to the supervision and restriction role of the people’s congresses on the government has become a topic of concern and research for many experts and scholars in China.Based on the author’s practical experience in the work of the National People’s Congress and from the point of view of the problems encountered and found in practice,this paper will study how to overcome the deficiencies in the work of the National People’s Congress,and put forward practical reform measures to strengthen the supervision and restriction of the National People’s Congress on the power of the government.
