| At this stage, the aging trend of China’s population is becoming more and more obvious.Meanwhile, the problem of aging of the elderly population has become more prominent, and the problem of old-age care for the elderly has also become a more pressing social problem.Compared with cities.rural areas’pension tasks are more difficult. In the rural pension problem, the problem of life care for the elderly is particularly prominent.A better response to this problem has important theoretical and practical significance for the elderly in rural areas and social developmentThis paper adopts the case study method, taking X village in Shandong Province as the investigation point, and selects 14 senior citizens in the village as the research objects. This paper uses in-depth interview and participant observation to collect information, from the five aspects of eating.dressing, going to the toilet, walking, bathing to understand the daily care situation of the elderly. This paper explores the problems and causes of the life care of the elderly in rural areas through qualitative analysis.and tentatively put forward some suggestions for solving the problems on this basis. The study found that there are five problems in the care of the elderly in rural areas:First, the coverage of life care is narrow. Some elderly people in rural areas have no life care after losing their self-care abilities, and can only maintain their basic living conditions;Second, the level of life care is low. Most of the life services provided by caregivers are concentrated on eating and dressing. The needs of bathing.indoor activities, and toilets are difficult to meet, and some objective needs of the elderly are ignored;Third,long-term caregivers are heavily burdened. The long-term continuous care process has caused heavy physical and mental burden and economic pressure on the caregiver, which can easily lead to friction and contradiction between caregivers and caregivers, and seriously affects the old age of the elderly;Fourth, the formal care system is seriously lacking, and it is generally difficult for rural senior citizens to obtain socialized and institutional formal care;Fifth, the informal care system has a single structure.Once the spouse or children have an accident, the old age of the elderly will be in trouble. This paper believes that there are four main reasons for the current care of the elderly in rural areas:First, due to imperfections in relevant regulations、laws and policies, the elderly cannot seek help from the departmental government and only succul,mb to their own resources;Second, the number of rural old-age care institutions is small and the level is low.The supply of socialized aged care services lags behind the Iiving care needs of the elderly in rural areas;Third.because the function of family care and community care is limited by many objective conditions, informalcare is poorly developed;fourth, the number of care providers is decreasing, resulting in a significant shortage of providers of care services. With the rapid increase of the elderly population.the traditional rural elderly family care method faces greater challenges. This paper analyzes the life care problems of the elderly in X Village of Shandong Province, and puts forward some suggestions for solving the problems from the government, rural communities, families and elderly themselves. This paper argues that the current life care dilemma faced by the elderly in rural China should be based on the traditional respect for the family pension, focusing on the role of the government and society, and the family, society and government should work together to solve the problem of living care for the elderly. |
