Research On The Participation Of Yunnan Federation Of Trade Unions In Social Assistance

Since the reform and opening-up,China’s rapid economic development,people’s living standards are increasing.Especially now stepped into the "Thirteen-Five",China is basically completed a well-off society,the construction of Chinese characteristics of socialism into a new era.At this time,the main contradiction of our society has been transformed from the contradiction between the people’s growing material and cultural needs and the backward social production to the people’s growing good life needs and unbalanced development.Such a large background,so that some deep-seated contradictions slowly surface.First of all,China is facing a variety of forms of social assistance problems.To solve the problem of social assistance,one must rely on the government to solve,and play the leading role of the Government;On the other hand,it relies on institutions other than the government-non-governmental structures to help the government solve the problem.China should draw on the theoretical mechanism of Western mature and reliable social assistance,vigorously develop pluralistic ways and encourage non-governmental organizations such as nongovernmental organizations and private groups to join in social assistance.The Chinese trade union is led by the Communist Party of China,belonging to the working class of mass organizations,is the link between the party and the masses is a strong pillar of supporting the socialist State policy.This topic takes the Yunnan Federation of Trade Unions as the main research object,elaborates the basic concepts of social relief and trade union relief work,and studies the historical relationship between trade unions and social relief at home and abroad and the development process.Through trade union organizations to participate in social assistance compared with government assistance.Taking the specific work of the Yunnan Federation of Trade Unions as an example,this paper introduces the current situation of the work of the Federation of Trade Unions in Yunnan Province in the field of social assistance,especially some special and practical work,such as participating in social assistance,promoting employment and so on.This paper analyzes the problems and causes of Yunnan Federation of trade unions’ participation in social assistance.According to the positive work done by foreign trade union organizations in the field of social relief,this paper summarizes the experience and practices worth learning.The countermeasures and suggestions to further promote the participation of the trade unions in the field of social assistance in Yunnan Province are put forward,such as strengthening the participation at the source,strengthening supervision and inspection,promoting employment and re-employment,conducting collective wage consultation,and establishing trade union supplementary security system.Aiming at the problem that the working system is not smooth,the new idea of "strengthening carrier construction-trade union organization construction" is put forward,so as to ensure the orderly progress of all work and achieve practical results.
