| With the rapid development of society and economy,social conflicts are becoming more and more prominent,and the state and government put the construction of a harmonious society in an important position.As a bridge and link between the Party and the majority of workers’ groups,trade union organizations do a good job in helping workers in difficulties as an important measure to promote social harmony.Nowadays,China is in the stage of social and economic transformation,and the problems and needs of workers’ groups have gradually become diversified and complicated,changing from single material level needs to spiritual level needs,which leads to the traditional trade union work mode can no longer meet the actual needs of workers’ groups in difficulties.Therefore,labor unions need to combine social work to innovate the work mode of helping workers in difficulties,use professional knowledge and methods to help workers in difficulties to solve their problems,meet the actual needs of workers in difficulties,improve the quality of life and promote social harmony.This study is based on the work of the K Banner General Union of Trade Unions in helping workers in difficulty,using practical research methods,collecting relevant information through participant observation method and semi-structured interviews,and investigating the needs of workers in difficulty,union staff and union leaders in the work of the K Banner General Union of Trade Unions in helping workers in difficulty,and finding that there are problems in the work of union help such as lack of professionalism of services,single service mode and small service scope.The study concluded that in order to solve the problems in union help work,it is necessary to combine union social work to improve the professionalism of services,enhance the quality of services and meet the needs of difficult worker groups.Finally,a practical framework for social work participation in union help work for workers in difficulty is constructed from four aspects to provide reference experience for future research and development of social work in the field of trade unions. |
