The China Press has played an important role and influence on the Image of China in the eyes of the American people.This article takes the news report about China in the A edition of the China Press from January 1,2012 to December 31,2017 as the research object,and analysis of the characteristics and functions of the news reports on Chinese content in the China Press in shaping the Nation's Image of China.By comparing the differences between the China Press and the western mainstream media in the same content of news reports,it can be seen that the role and influence of the China Press in shaping a good Image of China is indispensable.By analyzing the news reports of the China Press and the western media on Chinese political economy,social life,disaster,military science and technology,cultural and sports education,it can be seen that the Nation's Image of China created in the western mainstream is basically one-side and biased,and the China Press has a positive,authentic and objective character in shaping the Nation's Image of China.The comprehensive and complementary features,as the extension of the Chinese media in China,the contents of the news reports in the news reports in the China Press can more truly and objectively reflect the Image of China.In general,the results show that the China Press plays an important role in shaping a positive Image of China.
