With the continuous popularization of new media technology,the ratings of film and television programs have gradually increased.Compared with movies and TV plays,animation belongs to a kind of later generation.The concept of animation originated from the close combination of Japanese animation industry and cartoon industry.It is different from the original animation in China.It is an art form that combines painting,cartoon,film,digital media,photography,music and many other arts.Its introduction meets the needs of contemporary art appreciation.Therefore,since its introduction to the Chinese market,there have been a large number of animation fans,which has promoted the rapid development of this industry.The development of animation can not be separated from the support of good animation products,and the development and dissemination of animation products are deeply imprinted with the commercial nature of the brand.Most of the earliest animation products were imported from Japan.After years of development,Japanese animation technology is very mature.Excellent animation works are also common.Compared with domestic animation,because the visual effect is more in line with the aesthetic of modern people,it has irreplaceable advantages.After all,it is a commercial animation product.When its huge commercial value is discovered by more and more people,more and more people join in the animation industry has become a trend.In this increasingly competitive business environment,animation products inevitably have a mixed situation.Good animation works are constantly emerging,but copying others' works is common.With the increasing prominence of this issue,the protection of copyright of animation works has been put on the agenda.The article is divided into four parts.The first part explains the concept and characteristics of animation works and related introduction of animation derivatives,and makes a brief analysis of the reasons for the frequent occurrence of animation works market in China.The second part first introduces the current situation of copyright protection of foreign animation works,taking the major animation countries such as the United States and Japan as the research phenomena,and compares the relevant theoretical systems and legal norms,analyses the inspiration of foreign relief mechanism for animation works to China,and systematically introduces the current legal norms of copyright protection of Chinese animation works.The third part discusses the defects and deficiencies of the current copyright laws and regulations in the protection of animation works,including legislative defects and law enforcement deficiencies.In the fourth part,aiming at the shortcomings and deficiencies of the relevant legal norms in the protection of animation works in China,the author puts forward the corresponding protection measures,mainly from the aspects of perfecting copyright-related legislation and strengthening law enforcement,in order to provide useful reference for improving the protection of copyright of animation works in China.
