Research On The Strategy Of Political Risks Prevention For Overseas Investment Projects From The Perspective Of Overseas Investment Insurance

Nowadays,China's foreign direct investment flow is the second largest in the world,which is next only to the United States.With the proposal of "The Belt and Road Initiative" of China,more and more Chinese enterprises from different areas "go out" to participate in the international market.Many overseas investment projects are in large amount and long term,which are more likely to be suffered by political risks,as they are related to the benefice of the people's livelihood of the host country.From the perspective of overseas investment insurance to prevent political risks of overseas investment projects,this paper studies through literature research method,expounds the definition,types,causes and standard of determination and test of political risks,and discusses the connotation of political risks.Analyzes their manifestations through case studies,which lead to the current situation of political risk prevention and control.Then elaborates the origin and development of overseas investment insurance,analyzes comprehensively the preventive effect of overseas investment insurance on political risks by the influence of investment insurance on the causes and consequences of political risks.Finally,the insure strategy of overseas investment insurance is formulated,which mainly includes the choice of insurance companies,the choice of insured subjects and risks,to avoid the political risks of power investment projects,by a reasonable choice of strategy.It is hoped that the analysis of this paper can provide a feasible reference for the prevention of political risks for Chinese enterprises' overseas investment projects,and then evade the political risks of the projects in an all-round way,and provide an inexhaustible impetus for the development of enterprises.
