Since the founding of New China, the western world has paid special attention to this new socialist power in the east of the world. As the concentrated embodiment and implement tool of the western mainstream social ideology, the news media began to devote themselves to the coverage of China. In each node of the history of New China, the attitude of the western mainstream media to China reports perfectly reflects the western political circles' response strategies to China during this period. The international and regional situation after the end of the Cold War,together with the long-standing stereotypes of China in the West, especially in the United States, determines that the media began to tend to disclose. The so-called "human rights issues","religious issues" and "national issues" of China are closely pursued and exaggerated in violation of the so-called "universal values",ignoring the great achievements made by the Chinese government and people since the founding of the People's Republic, especially since the reform and opening up.Its attempt is nothing more than to incite the antagonism between the Chinese people and the Party and the government, and even implies the motives of "color revolution" and "peaceful evolution".These reports have affected the image of our country in the international community and caused bad adverse effects. With the rapid development of China's socialist market economy and the deepening of opening-up,the Chinese people have a clear understanding of the true face of the political media represented by the Voice of America and the mainstream conservative media represented by the Washington Post, which can basically identify and filter falsehoods.False inflammatory information. But we still need to pay attention to the reports of American news companies that seem neutral, free and even "de-politicized".Their reports seem not only to focus on politics, but also to affirm China's economic development to a large extent. However, they imply negative comments and inflammatory reports on China on some key sensitive issues.Avenue.The New York Times is one of them. This paper studies 193 Chinese-themed reports of the New York Times from January 1,2016 to December 31,2016.Through objective data analysis, especially through the lexical language used in the reports,it analyses the implicit political tendencies in Chinese-related reports, and focuses on the international and domestic impact of the negative reports. The strategy of deep communication strategy is studied. On this basis, under the guidance of the overall concept of national security,we should think about our countermeasures in the context of the new era.
