Research On The Optimization Of China's Military Honor System

Honor has a strong motivating power and can inspire people to move forward.Military profession is the most admirable and noble profession that requires self-sacrifice and should receive the most social respect.In this sense,we must unify the promotion of the sacrifice spiritand the enhancement of related incentive mechanisms to build a system that can reflect soldiers' sense of honor and pride.In this way,the passion and momentum of officers and soldiers in dedicating themselves to national defense can be further stimulated.With the gradual establishment of China's national honor system,the Party and the army begin to pay more attention to building the honor system for military personnel and the research conditions for studying the optimization of military honor system has been more and more mature.This paper refines the connotation of military honor system from three aspects:the reward system,the commendation system,and its corresponding ribbon system.Under the guidance of the theory and practice in our military political work,according to the relevant laws and regulations in our country and army and based on psychology and management theories and on the systematic research on the history of our military honor system,this study objectively and deeply analyzes the characteristics of our military honor system,its development,current situation,major defects and the reasons behind.The purpose of a research is to offer better solutions to the problems.This paper starts from the practical situations of our military honor system,combines them with the reference of the current features of the military honor system in the United States,Russia and Taiwan,and proposes a set of ideas to improve our military honor system:(1)strengthen legislative construction of military honor system;(2)complete the content setting of military honor system;(3)improve the ribbon structure of military honor system;(4)regulate the implementation procedure of military honor system;(5)enhance the efficiency of military-civil docking system.
