Study On The Settlement Of Immigrants In Dengzhou City,Henan Province

The south to North Water Transfer Project is a large water and hydropower project carried out through the Xichuan county government and the Dengzhou municipal government under the guidance of the central government.Due to the needs of the project,the people all over the country responded to the government’s call which sacrificed their own benefits in order to show consideration for the nation.As the largest emigrant resettlement area in the south to North Water Transfer Project in Henan,Dengzhou has a vital role in the successful completion of the resettlement work in the Project.The study of immigration and resettlement in Dengzhou has a great significance affect which not only to the other resettlement areas of the south to North Water Transfer Project,but also to the study of the expansion of the service-oriented government.This paper,taking the resettlement of the Middle Route Project of the south to North Water Transfer Project as the starting point of the investigation,sets up the resettlement area of Dengzhou as an investigation object,and tries to analyze and study the problems of the government in the process of immigration and resettlement,and find out and discuss the original causes and influence of these problems,and finally bring forward the corresponding results.The countermeasures and suggestions provide a feasible practice path for the relevant governments to protect the rights and interests of migrants and achieve the ultimate goal of resettlement.The full text consists of six parts,the specific framework and main contents are as follows:The first part of the introduction,this part mainly expounds the research background and significance,research ideas and methods,the purpose is to provide theoretical guidance for the study of the immigration and resettlement of Dengzhou.Secondly,this part introduces the current situation of related theoretical research both at home and abroad.Finally,the possible innovations and shortcomings of this paper are put forward.The second part is the definition of basic concepts and related theories.First of all,this part includs the definition of migration and resettlement.Besides,the related theories of service-oriented government are summarized,as well as the agreement between this the-ory and this article.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of resettlement in Dengzhou.First,the general situation of Dengzhou resettlement area is introduced.Secondly,the achievement of Dengzhou government in resettlement is analyzed.The fourth part is the existing problem and reason analysis in resettlement in Dengzhou.First,the paper analyzed the existing problems of Dengzhou government in resettlement.Second,the paper analyzes the reasons for the government’s problems in the process of resettlement from five aspects,which are not thorough and comprehensive,the construction of the immigrant management mechanism is unreasonable,not comprehensive,and the government has "rational economic man".The fifth part is to improve the countermeasures and suggestions of Dengzhou municipal government’s resettlement.First,we introduce the experience gained by the relevant governments in Three Gorges Reservoir and Chuxiong Qingshan Zui reservoir in resettlement.Then,it puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions from six aspects:Improve the social security system,promote industrial diversification,strengthen the education and training system,improve the autonomy system of the immigrant community,and help emigrant establish a social network to strengthen the psychological guidance to the immigrants.The sixth part of the conclusion and discussion.
