Marx and Engels ’ thought of autonomy has its profound theoretical origins,times background and practical Foundation.Marx and Engels ’ thought of Autonomy is a critical inheritance to the thought of predecessors ’ autonomy,especially to the idea of social autonomy organization of utopian socialists.The autonomy thought of Marx and Engels also has its abundant practical source,namely the Paris Commune Movement’s exploration and practice to the socialist autonomy.Marx and Engels ’ thought of autonomy has its own intrinsic logic.Marx and Engels based on the practice,starting from the reality of the people,finding the capitalist private ownership conditions of alienation,considering that communism is not only a positive sublation of alienation,but also a more advanced return to the original state of self-government.Marx and Engels ’ Thought of Autonomy contains rich connotations: firstly,the foundation of self-government is the emancipation of the proletariat;secondly,the main way of self-government is universal suffrage;thirdly,the ultimate goal of self-government is to establish a consortium of free people.Once introduced into our country,Marx and Engels ’ thought of autonomy was combined with concrete practice.Marx and Engels ’ thought of autonomy was used and developed by the Chinese Communists during the period of new-democratic revolution,the period of socialist revolution and construction and the new period of reform and openingup and the socialist modernization construction.Thus,it has a great influence on the practice of grassroots self-government in our country.In addition,compared with other autonomous theories and autonomous thoughts,Marx and Engels ’ Autonomy thought has its own transcendence,so it still has important theoretical value and practical significance in today’s China and the world.
