With the progress of urbanization in our country,urban problems have become a major obstacle to city development.It is very difficult to fully solve the difficult problems in governance by only relying on governments' efforts.The TV question-answering by government officials in terms of urban governance breaks through the shackles of the single-centered city governance model characterized by a centralized government,encourages all interested-related parties in cities to participate in the governance,and stimulates the government departments to change their work style in an innovative way.In the past decades,TV question-answering by government officials has been popularized in dozens of cities in China.Thus,a lot of analyzable data and practical experience have been accumulated,which has played a substantive role in promoting innovation and sound development of urban governance."TV question-answering by government officials" is a rewarding practice and exploration of the cities in China under the background of the urgent need to upgrade from management to governance.This paper studies the development of TV question-answering by government officials through literature reading,comparative analysis and case studies,and analyzes the case of TV question-answering by government officials in Wuhan politics as a representative in detail.It analyzes the achievements and existing problems of TV question-answering by government officials in Wuhan.For example,the problems are as follows: the participants taking part in the activity are not various enough,the contents of questions are not expansive and thorough enough,the single form of TV question-answering is too simple,and the process of answering lacks in transparency and so on.Besides,the paper also draws on the experience of TV question-answering by government officials in other cities,concludes the law of development of similar cases through comparison,and puts forward the corresponding measures and suggestions.The paper is divided into six parts.The first part introduces the research background,significance and methods.The second part is an introduction to the core concepts and theories.The third part describes objectively the status quo of the development of TV question-answering by government officials from the four aspects: the subject,content,method and evaluation,and conducts a detailed empirical analysis of the TV question-answering by government officials in Wuhan.The fourth part analyzes the shortcomings of Wuhan's TV question-answering by government officials in terms of the application of city governance.The fifth part draws lessons from the experience of TV question-answering by government officials in other cities.The sixth part puts forward measures and suggestions for the problems existing in Wuhan's TV question-answering by government officials.The seventh part is the conclusion and prospect.To a certain extent,the paper digests and absorbs the academic achievements such as multi-center governance and advice from interest-related parties.Taking Wuhan's TV question-answering by government officials as a case,this paper proposes suggestions like city governance participated by multiple parties,integration of TV question-answering content and the new media,innovation of TV question-answering forms,and normalization of rectification publicity.From the perspective of accelerating innovation in city governance and promoting the sustainable development of TV question-answering by government officials,the paper suggests promoting the model of urban governance be shifted from "single-center" to "multi-center",encourages multiple subjects in cities to jointly face urban issues and participate in the construction of cities.
