| After the "Belt and Road" initiative came into being in 2013,the construction was followed.For a long time,China has shown great importance to foreign cultural exchanges as well as has achieved extensive results,forming an effective cooperation mechanism with relevant countries.However,relevant countries has made many efforts in communications and cooperation on the religion,there are still a long way to go.What’s worse,the limitations and problems of exchanges in religion are becoming barriers to the development of the "One Belt and One Road".In order to speed up its progress,we must not only lay solid foundation for it in politics and economy,but also take measures in religious culture,a key area.As a key small country in South Asia and the Indian Ocean,Sri Lanka plays a strategically significant in the construction of the Chinese Maritime Silk Road.The friendly relations between China and Sri Lanka have a deeply historical figures,solid political foundations,many mutual interests and extensive social support.Where there is a thousand-year-old Buddhism that is founded by hierarch Fa Xian,and as we all know,Sri Lanka’s "Mahinda Vision" has a close bearing on the China dream,the Chinese people’s pursuit of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Sri Lanka is going to set up five centers for maritime affairs,aviation,commerce,energy and knowledge,which are in line with China’s 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.Therefore,they are supposed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in various fields to jointly promote the development of the Maritime Silk Road so as to benefit the two countries and their people.China and Sri Lanka shown highly attention about cultural exchanges and cooperation in the field of the Buddhism in the soft power position of "popular communion between the two countries",in order to led buddhist cultural exchange between the two countries relations in" One Belt And One Road "and play its due role.With the focus on the relationship between China and Sri Lanka,taking Buddhist cultural exchanges as its core,this article is to elaborate the roles of Buddhism in the cultural exchanges,economic and trade cooperation,political interaction between the in the context of the "One Belt and One Road" through combing the history and current status of the Buddhist cultural communications and then analyze its problems and difficulties in Buddhist cultural exchanges as well as put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The great "One Belt and One Road"initiative is an integral part of Xi Jinping’s socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era,a global strategy for big country diplomacy and at the same time,a practice for the construction of a community of shared future for mankind advocated by Xi Jinping.Therefore,some viewpoints and discussions in this paper can provide new ideas for China to promote the "One Belt And One Road vision",especially forming the realization of the blueprint of the 21st century maritime silk road. |
