Research On Huang Yuansheng’s Thought Of Democracy And Salvation

Huang Yuansheng is "China’s first truly modern reporter." Although he was short-lived on the modern historical stage,his ideological connotations revealed in his newsletter and political theory had a great influence on both the present and the later generations,and they have research value.The academic circle has already made some research achievements in his life experience,news thought and political thought,and in recent years it has also become more differentiated and refined,but it lacks an overall understanding of Huang Yuansheng.Huang Yuansheng’s thought is integral,a unity of contradiction,and requires overall understanding.Huang Yuansheng’s thought can be summarized as "democratic salvation thought." The logic of his thinking is as follows:With the guidance of democratic thoughts,a nationalist constitutional centralized state is established.With the national government as the core,transform the country from the top down and launch the rescue.However,the most important illness in modern China is the lack of new people to master democratic thoughts.Therefore,the basis for the practice of salvation is to cultivate new people,and the cultivation of new people urgently requires a literary revolution.This is a logical process in which the top-down salvation thinking is implemented in the bottom-up extermination practice.Huang Yuansheng’s ideas are also broad and inclusive,and are a complex of numerous or similar or contradictory ideas.In his opinion,the idea of opposing dictatorship,advocating for civil rights,and advocating the interests of the people can all be used as democratic ideology.The key to saving the country is to enhance the country’s competitiveness.Therefore,the content of Huang Yuansheng’s ideology and its mutual content are all complexly related.Huang Yuansheng’s ideas include the three main parts of constitutionalism,party theory,education,and news media.The relationship between the three parts is:reciprocal relations,together with the logic of the national salvation of democracy;all levels are traced back,based on practice and gradually from the surface to the inside,from the shallow to the deep,to the reality,to move closer to operability;Alienation,starting from political thought and ending with the literary revolution of public opinion and educational thought,there is a contradiction between the inner and real content of the inner layer and the content of the surface and ideal,the practice rejects the ideal,and the means deviates from the original intention;Each part of the content is opposed to or deviated from its original purpose in the process of gradual and in-depth practice,but in the end it is implemented and unified in disseminating democratic thoughts,educating the people,and transforming the society into practical salvation practices.
