On Marx's Criticism Of Classical Political Liberalism

The classical political liberalism,originated in 17 and eighteenth Century,was represented by Rock,Hobbes,Adam Simth and so on.It was a kind of political philosophy of rights based on freedom and equality as the leading value of society.On the basis of philosophy,rationalism,as the basis of his epistemology,as the core spirit of individualism,as the basis of its theory of value has always been the spiritual element shared by the classical political liberalism.From the basic connotation,as a kind of individualist value concept which emphasizes the relationship between private property and its legal rights,the classical political liberalism mainly includes three main aspects : contract state view based on natural law and natural rights,the human rights system centered on private property,and the value demand with the concept of freedom and equality.Based on the transformation of the perspective of methodology,Marx gradually broke away from the abstract rational critical thinking in the process of advancing his critique of his classical political liberalism,and gradually completed the construction of historical materialism in the process of political criticism to philosophical criticism and then to the criticism of political economics.Under the dialectic of materialism,we have accomplished the reconstruction of history.In the conscious application of the methodology of historical materialism,Marx criticized the classical political liberalism in four aspects of metaphysics,the rational nature of the view of the state,the abstraction of the view of rights,and the falsehood of ideology,and completely disintegrated the classical politics on the basis of the unification of history and logic.The value system of governing liberalism and its historical legitimacy is demonstrated.The transcendence of Marx's critique of classical political liberalism is to put forward the way of free liberation of capitalist society by replacing political emancipation with human liberation,taking the social justice in place of legal right and justice,and replacing the capitalist society with "the union of free men".At the same time,we should also supervise the rational core of classical political liberalism to nurture the construction of democratic politics in our country,especially to cultivate civil society with Chinese characteristics.In addition,facing the new changes of contemporary capitalism and the transformation of the main contradictionsin the new era of our country,the dialectical grasp of the "revolutionary" paradigm of Marx's political philosophy is a major proposition that must be deeply reconsidered in our time.
