China Contributions To Poverty Reduction In Ethiopia(2005 To 2016)

This research study aim at exploring,describing and explain the role of china in helping Ethiopia's poverty reduction and reduce absolute poverty.To do this the researcher will employ both qualitative and quantitative approach to validate the data.This is done through careful collection of secondary data,documents from official websites and relevant sources from different institutions and other important literatures regarding the topic at hand.The finding of this work showed that china contribution in Ethiopia poverty reduction,reduction of absolute poverty and economy growth especially in poverty oriented sectors,infrastructures and more importantly poverty oriented development projects had contributed a lot and had helped to reduce the extreme food poverty levels in last thirteen years since 2005The terms Poverty is an aggregate measure that take into account both the food and non food requirements.The major challenges facing Ethiopia today is to reduce the levels of poverty of its population and their vulnerability for the wide variety of crisis to accomplish this goals,a poverty reduction was prepared and endeavor to reconcile with the requirement of structural reforms and economic recovery with objective of improving the life and well being of the poor than fallen into the hand of elite few.Ever since after Ethiopia had leaned toward china,Ethiopia economy witness continues changes in its GDP growth and the poverty oriented sectors had gradually improving and top among many eastern and African region in poverty reduction rate statistic globally.Since 2005 Ethiopia poverty reduction has shown substantial decline and economy is more productive and integrated with the central gain contribution from china development support in diversification of jobs of opportunity,employment and bridging to reduce the extreme impoverish jobless,uneducated to have opportunity access window for survive and life changes.The extreme poverty level in Ethiopia and its reduction measures of country's poverty analysis based on consumption analysis and household indicators show progressive increase in last thirteen years due to china contribution in the country poverty reduction and development programs since 2005 to 2016.The scenario in this process of poverty reduction is clear and the evident point is that despite all variation observed in the regional poverty status,rural and urban areas across the country as explained in poverty analysis measure has indicated that both absolute total poverty and food poverty had witnessed substantial decline over the period of 2010 and 2011 to 2015 and 2016 in all most all regional states except for Harari region where food poverty remain unchanged over the last subsequent years due to drought and many natural hazard that had affected the region.Therefore,its china continues engagement in these processes that had helped the country realized it important priority has in some way or another been met and china should remain in this partnership with Ethiopia in the long run.
