Documentary "Li Jiemei"

This graduation work is a public welfare documentary.By recording the family stories of Li Jiemei,Zhang Tingwu and their two children,I hope to obtain a unique perspective to explore the education problems of rural children aged 0-3.What's more,there are more specific rural problems behind them,such as the mental health of rural women,rural children lacking of fatherhood and so on.According to incomplete statistics,the number of women left behind in rural areas in China is as high as 47 million.They not only have to burden the responsibility of raising children,but also have to support the daily life of the family.Under the heavy pressure of life,many rural women's mental health problems become prominent.And this will lead to a lot of bad consequence such as children's education problems which are hindering the future of the whole family.The documentary attempts to take Li Jiemei's family as a starting point,focusing on the education of rural children in the 0-3-year-old period.Through self-report,interview,follow-up shooting and other ways to go deep into the family,I hope to explore the education and family concept problems in the rural environment,so as to glimpse the rural reality and draw some reflections and summary.
