Coloring Aesthetic Transmutation Of Chinese New Meticulous Painting And Creative Practice

The Chinese painting circle has shown a prosperous scene.Xu Lei,Gao Jian,Zhang Qian and others became the representatives of the “New Meticulous Painting” in the early 1990 s.This is a new school of painting relative to the traditional meticulous painting.It inherits the traditional methods on the basis and absorbs many concepts of Western painting.This style of works tends to mature in 1990’s and the unique style of painting causes great concern in the art world.The "New Meticulous Painting" artistic style is quite unique.There are many changes in the theme selection,composition,styling and other aspects in the painting compared to the traditional works.Especially in the coloring of the aesthetic,the changes are more prominent.It no longer adheres to the description of the inherent coloring of the image,but pay more attention to environmental coloring,light and shadow and the overall tone of the performance,in order to express the artist’s subjective ideas and inner feelings.At present,the academic and artistic circles have a certain amount of research results on the “New Meticulous Painting".This article is based on author’s own creative practice,trying to promote the “New Meticulous Painting” coloring aesthetic change exploration and research from the horizontal and vertical two directions.The vertical is mainly to study the “New Meticulous Painting” development history,artistic style;the horizontal is mainly based on the images of works,creative group landscape,analysis the typical works of painters,more deeply grasping and understanding the coloring aesthetic changes,presentation methods and causes of “New Meticulous Painting”.The purpose of this paper is to further explain the phenomenon and artistic style of “New Meticulous Painting”,so as to have a better understanding of it and guiding our future practical creation.The article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly expounding the current status of “New Meticulous Painting” and its artistic style through the analysis of the “New Meticulous Painting” painter’s creative exchange platform,creative atmosphere and other conditions;the second one analyzes and studies the aesthetic changes of the coloring of “New Meticulous Painting” and interprets the mode and cause of its presentation.The third part combines the above research results with author’s specific creation to elaborate the application of the aesthetic features of the coloring in the “New Meticulous Painting” practice creation and the experiences and feelings in the creative process.
