Expressive Painting Language

The exploration of expressive painting language involves a wide range of fields and directions.As an expression of artistic language,this artistic language form has infinite possibilities to be used in painting creation to show the emotions of artists.This paper attempts to start with the concept and constituent elements of expressive painting language,and analyze the diversity of expressive painting language expression from the aspects of texture materials,brushwork,color application and modeling.Secondly,this paper analyzes the oil painting landscape works of artist Velasco Vitali,focusing on the interpretation of expressive painting language forms in his urban landscape works from the aspects of brushwork,texture and color.Finally,the author will combine the author's understanding of Qingdao city,take Qingdao regional characteristic foreign style architectural complex as the performance object,his own practice and exploration of oil painting landscape expressive painting language in the creation of works,and finally present the creation process,thinking and perception of Qingdao city cluster landscape.Through creative practice,in an attempt to explain expressive painting language is,under the domination in the artist's subjective expressive consciousness in his works focus on oil painting scenery vitality,and presents with external form aesthetic feeling,great creativity and distinctive artistic features of language form and the language of painting on behalf of the existence of ego,look for to belong to his own painting language is the key.
