The rapidly advancing society and the rapid development of information affect people’s daily life.At the same time,it has also brought a huge impact and influence on the development of modern visual art.The fast-paced life and rapid information input make people feel The demand is getting higher and higher.Traditional culture is a huge treasure for us to create new lives and innovate new ideas to extract genes and cultural connotations.Spring Festival culture is an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture.As a natural and humanistic symbol,the font is endowed with more tension and shocking effects than concrete figures under the abundance of modern design methods,creating an extraordinary visual language.Words have been developed from multiple aspects,multiple angles and multiple dimensions,deeply touching people’s vision,hearing,smell,touch,and soul in every corner of life.At the same time,as a branch of traditional culture and as a visual design language,it combines the Spring Festival culture with font design to collide with new sparks.This article mainly studies the connotation of Chinese New Year cultural symbols,establishes a design factor library,and combines font design with outstanding traditional Chinese New Year.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Theoretical research has constructed the basic framework of the thesis.Combining the background of the era,expound the research purpose and significance,and analyze the current situation of Spring Festival culture and font design.The author tailors his genre,and formulates research content and methods for font design in the cultural context of the Spring Festival.Establish a library of cultural symbols for the Spring Festival,research and analyze font design,and font application design to provide theoretical support for subsequent design practices.(2)Deeply explore the symbolic connotation of the Spring Festival culture,explore the form and color factors of its cultural symbols,establish a design factor library,and analyze in depth from the three aspects of Spring Festival emotions,customs and entertainment activities,and food.Apply the key characteristic elements of the Spring Festival culture to the design.(3)Design practice,following the principles of design application,adding H5 and dynamic display to traditional cultural and creative product applications.In the great era of new media development,this is also an innovative way.Display is not limited totwo-dimensional Space,adding interaction and a more impactful sensory experience.The final output of the design works has the auspicious intention of paper-cutting in traditional Chinese culture.Play a certain role in promoting the innovation and breakthrough of Chinese traditional culture.It breaks through the solidified impression,and allows people to experience the visual beauty while also experiencing the inner meaning of the Spring Festival culture.
