The Performance Interpretation Of Liszt "Rhapsodie Espagnole"

Franz Liszt,a Hungarian musician,is recognized as a romantic master in the history of western music,and he had left a lot of precious artistic wealth in his all career of music creation.The work “Rhapsodie espagnole”,written in 1863,composed in late creative period of Liszt,which defined by academic scholar Dr.Alan Walker.Liszt combines on the mature creative techniques with the most national characteristics of Spain's Hota and Foliath dance music in his composition.“Rhapsodie espagnole” was also famous for the deep and difficult skills,especially the complexity and changeable and long range,which is a great challenge for all the players.Liszt had developed the genre of “rhapsody”to a high level in composition technique,performance skill and emotional expression and spirit,and also provided a lot of reference for later composers in the creation of that genre,which provided vast valuable literature for piano art.In today's academic research,the report found that some composite technology of his late period had a lot of contract with impressionism music and even the 20 th music.Therefor he is called for forerunner of impressionism and 20 th century.This thesis is based on the performance practice of my master's degree concert,and the interpretation contains three chapters.Chapter One is about Liszt's life and the application and development of“rhapsody”genre in piano music.Chapter Two is about the analysis of composition and technique.The harmony of Liszt in this period has a lot of value of research because in that period Liszt played a characteristic of pioneer,and he went further than his contemporaries.Chapter Three is about my performance interpretation.It is mainly about the analysis of recording on famous pianist playing and the analysis of my performance,and the part of my performance interpretation is about the technology analysis and emotional expression which based on the Brecht's performance system.The work “Rhapsodie espagnole” is a very valuable literature of piano,and itleaves a lot of space to performers.The Spanish style is the most important part for that work,and it requires players to devote great enthusiasm to playing.But behind this enthusiasm,it is necessary to calmly analyze and study its music score and history.And all that is due to guiding practice and performance effectively.
