Research On Digital Reproduction Of Chu Phoenix Totem Based On Narrative Expression

The Chu Culture is romantic,elegant and unique,and the Chu art is strange and magnificent.As an important part of Chu art,phoenix totem has a beautiful and diverse shape,it is the crystallization of Chu art creation.Chu people's romantic,innovative,outstanding and flexible art creation spirit is worth us to study.From the primitive society,the early phoenix image appeared in the form of clan totems.With the development of the times,the shape and connotation of the phoenix totem have changed,the image of phoenix has gradually changed from abstract to concrete,and the appearance of phoenix has become more gorgeous,the meaning carried by phoenix totem has gradually evolved from the original totem worship to the allegorical happiness.Now,phoenix totem has undergone continuous development and interpretation,condensing the artistic creativity and extraordinary imagination of all generations,and has become a symbol of national spirit and cultural heritage.For modern design,phoenix totem has profound Chinese cultural origin,it is an intuitive visual symbol and cultural symbol of traditional Chinese culture.The research and innovation of phoenix totem is an important way to spread Chinese traditional totem culture to the world.This thesis introduces the historical background and source factors of the phoenix totem,analyzes the historical reasons and specific manifestations of " Chu people worship the phoenix" along with the unique historical and cultural significance of the phoenix totem.The research analyzes the aesthetic and narrative characteristics of phoenix totem in different periods,aims to provide creative ideas and theoretical basis for its own design innovation practice.Combine with my practical design,research and explore how to create novel design works while keeping the spiritual connotation of the phoenix totem.The purposes of this thesis is to understand the artistic characteristics of phoenix totem,to dig out spiritual connotation and cultural value of phoenix totem,to better grasp the form of phoenix totem innovative design and carry forward the essence of Phoenix culture;and to explore how to spread Phoenix culture and Chinese traditional culture in new media,to find a direction for the development of phoenix totem's innovative design and arouse people's attention to Chinese traditional totem and traditional culture.
