In recent years,Chinese education in Myanmar has gradually expanded from Chinese teaching in northern Myanmar to Chinese teaching in southern Myanmar as a second language,and the number of learning venues and numbers has increased each year.Then,how to maximize the effectiveness of classroom teaching to stimulate students' enthusiasm and interest in learning has become the most critical element of Chinese as a second language classroom teaching.Experts and scholars at home and abroad have paid great attention to the investigation and research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Among them,the game teaching method is used by the majority of international Chinese teachers because it can bring vitality to classroom teaching and change the boring classroom atmosphere.Among the nine months of my internship in the Noble Language Center of Yangon,South Myanmar,I found that game teaching methods are more suitable for learners in South Myanmar.On the one hand,Chinese teaching in southern Myanmar unlike Chinese teaching in northern Myanmar which has a unique Chinese language learning environment,the use of game teaching methods can create scenarios for Chinese learners in southern Myanmar to meet their communication needs;On the other hand,Chinese learners in South Myanmar are mostly children from international schools.They prefer to be more flexible Changing teaching mode.Therefore,the research content of this paper is aimed at the application of game teaching in the Chinese language classroom of the Noble Language Center of Yangon,Myanmar.This article takes three classes of students of different ages,different language learning environments,and different Chinese proficiency levels in the Pinyin Class,Easy Class,and Elementary Class in Noble Language Center of Yangon as the research object,and the theoretical basis of classroom game teaching method.During the nine-month teaching period from April 2018 to July 2019,the author implemented Chinese classroom games for three different classes of students.By recording the most used Chinese classroom games in practical teaching,using questionnaires,Interview method to understand the attitudes of learners in different classes on Chinese classroom game teaching and evaluate the effect of classroom game teaching application.According to the theory and practice of game teaching method,Try to propose the types of games that are applicable to the different stages of Myanmar,I hope that it can promote the better development of Chinese international classroom teaching in the future and promote a win-win situation of teaching and learning.
