Couplets,also known as antithetical couplets,couplets,couplets,etc.,have evolved directly from Taofu,and have also accepted the art techniques of antithesis rhetoric.They are widely integrated with other literary genres,with complexity from content to form.They are a unique style of the Chinese nation and an independent style.As for the origin of couplets,scholars have not reached an agreement.According to relevant historical data,it can be seen that couplets originated in song and Yuan Dynasties,ushered in the initial release period of couplets in the Ming Dynasty,and gradually flourished in the Qing Dynasty.The middle and late Qing Dynasty is the peak period of couplets.Therefore,the research on the folklore tendency and desk tendency of couplets is within the scope of the history of couplets from the generation of couplets to the establishment of the Republic of China.In this period of time,we can clearly grasp the development context of the folklore tendency and desk tendency of couplets.I think that in the process of the emergence and development of couplets,the carrier of couplets represented by peach symbols and the style of couplets represented by antithetical sentences complement each other,but they are separated internally,that is,they have evolved and developed in different ways.The emergence and evolution of couplet culture can be divided into two tendencies:Desk style and folk custom,which are respectively manifested in two aspects:style and carrier.The folk custom tendency of couplets is accompanied by couplets,which have folk functions and folk characteristics.There is a gradual process in the trend of couplets' desk style: couplets have made continuous breakthroughs in their own content and form: they have widely absorbed the characteristics of other styles,their sentence patterns are more scattered and flexible,their own couplets are constantly developed and mature,forming a variety of rhetorical techniques,style features,couplet schools,etc.,which is the manifestation of couplets' desk style in the style;in addition,a large number of couplets have appeared,The couplets can be separated from the carrier of folk custom,which is the expression of the tendency of couplets' desk in the carrier.The tendency of the couplets on the desk improves the literary value of the couplets,which can not be separated from the participation of the literati in their creation,but also the internal requirements of the couplets' owndevelopment,so that they can better serve the folk activities or folk matters.In the final analysis,the folklore and the desk of couplets are two tendencies,which are not clear-cut relations.They are different in style and carrier,but they can integrate and promote each other,and can transform each other under certain conditions.The development of couplets benefits from the two-way interaction of the two tendencies.By analyzing the example of couplets in Wangjianglou Park,we can intuitively feel the evolution of the trend of folklore and desktop of couplets,and the future development of couplet cultural landscape can also benefit from it.
