An Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics And The Performance Versions Of The Flute Piece "Spring Breeze Night Rain"

The flute piece "Spring Breeze Night Rain" was created by the famous composer-Mr.Lu Liang Hui in Taipei in the spring of 2012.The music is in the form of a flute concerto and premiered by the famous Taiwanese flute player-Ms.Hua Qiao.Later in 2016,at the invitation of the Taipei Chinese Orchestra,it was adapted to a bamboo flute concerto and premiered by the young flute player-Mr.Lin Ke Wei.This concerto then became the specified track in the rematch of the 20th Taipei National Instrumental Music Competition in 2017(the 5th Bamboo Flute Concerto Competition).This bamboo flute concerto has been widely circulated both in the Chinese bamboo flute world and overseas and is loved by performers.This article takes this song of flute as a research subject and underscores the composer's creative mind and the essence of the music through analyzing the artistic characteristics of the music.The second creative process of the artistic application in the performance and my self-perception provide certain reference value for future performers to better understand and study this work.
