The Study Of Polygonum Image In Song Poetry

Polygonum is a common plant in daily life.At the same time,it is also an important literary image,which has been written into poetry since early.In the Song Dynasty,a large number of poems containing the image of polygonum appeared,conveying people's different feelings and thoughts.This paper takes the image of polygonum in Song Dynasty poetry as the research object,and mainly analyzes the reasons why Song Dynasty people like to use the image of polygonum in their poetry,what kind of writing characteristics they have and what kind of feelings they express through the image of polygonum.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this thesis is divided into three chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the plant properties and functional value of polygonum.Polygonum is a herbaceous plant with edible,medicinal and ornamental value.Through the longitudinal study of the image of polygonum in poetry,it is found that the image of polygonum appeared in the pre-qin period,and then developed slowly.In the Tang Dynasty,there was a special poem celebrating polygonum,and the connotation of polygonum began to be enriched.The second chapter mainly discusses the era background of Song Dynasty and the creation characteristics of polygonum image in Song Dynasty poetry.The number of poems containing the image of polygonum in Song Dynasty is higher than that in Tang Dynasty,and the scope of authors is wider.It is concluded that the atmosphere of flower appreciation,the development of traffic and the change of poetic style are the factors that promote the flourishing of polygonum in Song Dynasty poetry.The characteristics of Song Dynasty people's creation can be summarized into three aspects: first,the overall body;Second,the collocation of images;Third,the use of personification.The third chapter mainly analyzes the poetry of the Song Dynasty which contains the image of polygonum and summarizes the main emotions expressed by the poet through the image of polygonum.Among them are the poet's homesickness for his hometown relatives and friends,his enjoyment of leisure life,his understanding of the passage of time,and his lamentation of frustrated life.
