A Study On The Shi Ce Of Zhongxing Period In Southern Song Dynasty

The imperial examination system in ancient China,began in the Sui Dynasty,had far-reaching impact.After the inheritance and development in the Tang Dynasty,it had been matured into the Song Dynasty,became the most far-reaching talent selection method in Chinese history and continued for thousands of years.Among them,in the Song Dynasty,the imperial examination as main means for the rulers' highly centralized power and the selection of talent,has far-reaching significance.In particular,the reform of imperial examination in Song Ren zong Dynasty put forward the theory of emphasizing theory and neglecting poetry.In the period of Song Shen zong,this pragmatic examination style was formally entered into imperial examination.The examination scheme,the epitome of social modality,not only reflects the ruling class' s governing philosophy and political appeal,but also highlights literati's political talents and sense of responsibility.It has muti-values of politics,literature and historiography so that it is worthy of our further study.This paper studies examination scheme during "Zhongxing" Period of the Southern Song Dynasty,Through the analysis of the text of examination scheme in the Southern Song Dynasty,in combination of the background of the times,this paper studies the ideological content and artistic characteristics reflected in the examination scheme during this period,to clarify its practical significance and value.And it mainly researches on the final imperial examination text,with analysis of the writing content,model and the beauty thorn tradition of imperial examination,to make clear of its significance.Finally,a case study is carried out to analyze the mental outlook reflected in the scholars' text in the Southern Song Dynasty and to sort out its ideological system.The introduction part firstly analyzes and locates the period of "Zhongxing period" in the Southern Song Dynasty.Secondly,it defines the research history and present situation of examination scheme during "Zhongxing" Period of the Southern Song Dynasty.Besides,this paper explores the significance and purpose ofexamination scheme during "Zhongxing" Period of the Southern Song Dynasty.The study of examination scheme in the Song Dynasty's has began,but lacks the concrete research.And the intake of text is insufficient,and most of them are concentrated in the field of historiography so that the understanding of the literary value of the examination scheme needs to be further explored.Finally,this paper discusses the research scope and methodsIn the first chapter,it traces to the source of the imperial examination style,and makes clear its origin,development,stereotype and the change of position in the imperial examination for understanding the origin of examination scheme in Southern Song.For the origin of examination scheme in Southern Song,it focuses on the progressiveness,that is,from royalty hereditary,the imperial examination system during the two Han dynasties,Nine-rank system in the Wei and Jin dynasties,Jinshi Qushi in Sui dynasty,poetry Qushi in Tang dynasty,when Fan Zhongyan put emphasis on theory and lighted on poetry during Song Renzong period,Song Shen zong made examination scheme to be customized,and inheriting by Yuan Ming and Qing dynasties.Then it analyzes the function and significance of examination scheme.The second chapter carries on the classification research to the examination scheme according to the content during Zhongxing period.According to the form of proposition and answer,cutting from practical theory and proposed theory,it strips out the imperial examination as a separate section.From the political,economic,military,and culture,it carries out specific analysis of the examination scheme,for distinct the social dimensions reflected in examination scheme during "Zhongxing" Period in Southern Song Dynasty.At the same time,it is to understand literati's literary literacy and artistic techniques and social responsibility.The third chapter studies the characteristics of examination scheme during "Zhongxing" Period of the Southern Song Dynasty.The characteristics of the examination scheme in this period are general and special,that is,the similarities and differences of imperial examination scheme and the examination scheme in the process of writing.The feeling is abundant,creating the text for the sentiment;Rationalizing with smooth words and logical prominence,it has strong pertinence and obvious current affairs.It has both topicality and orientation.It is stylized and utilitarian,that is,the unity of persuasion and sacrament;Practicability and literariness highlight excellent artistic skill.Taking Wang Shipeng,"the Number One Scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty" as an example,the forth chapter analyzes the characteristics of the thought reflected by policy question and deeply studies his ideological system of unification and loving the people and benefiting the people.The concluding part of this paper summarizes the full text,analyzes the shortcomings in the research process and clarifies the focus and perspective of the future research.
