Research On Study On Shanxi Agricultural Cooperative Movement From 1950 To 1953

The agricultural cooperative movement since 1949 runs through the early period of new China.This movement is a move of the communist party of China to explore the way of rural development,and also a political movement of the communist party of China to organize and reform farmers.Shanxi’s position in the agricultural cooperative movement is particularly special.As the birthplace of agricultural cooperative movement,shanxi is located in the counties in the southeast of shanxi.Shanxi was the first to respond to the resolution of shanxi provincial party committee on promoting cooperative movement.Li shunda,a famous cooperative model worker,visited the Soviet union at the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on behalf of Chinese farmers,and launched a contest for agricultural production throughout the country.Back to the past,agricultural cooperatives in shanxi developed in the tradition of long-term mutual assistance and cooperation during the border area period.After 1949 liberation,Shanxi Changzhi prefecture committee combined with the development of the old area itself,put forward the request to improve the mutual aid group one step.In 1951,shanxi provincial party committee submitted to the central committee and the north China bureau a report entitled "one step to improve the old community mutual aid group",which triggered a debate within the party on the development of agricultural production cooperatives.The difference between the two is whether to immediately transition to socialism after land reform and how to move toward cooperation.The outcome of this debate,with MAO zedong’s support,led to a nationwide agricultural co-operative movement.From this beginning,the cooperative movement from point to surface,from small to large,from shallow to deep,step by step swept in.Shanxi is thus becoming the vanguard of the co-operative movement.Writing of this paper mainly on the archives collection of quite a numberof about 1950-1953 in Shanxi Province of the cooperative movement around the archives,supplemented by "shanxi daily",the People’s Daily reports of cooperatives in deeds at that time,each other,trying to restore the historical details of the cooperative movement in shanxi,to show the unique features of The Times.This paper is divided into four parts:Part one: trace the theoretical source and realistic background of shanxi cooperative movement.The second part focuses on the analysis of the mobilization mechanism of the CPC under the cooperative movement in shanxi,which is divided into the following parts: setting up models,propaganda and mobilization,the role of party organizations,and criticizing the congress.The third part: through specific examples,mainly through archives,shows the concrete process of shanxi cooperative movement.There are two stages.The first stage is the development of shanxi mutual aid and cooperation movement in the border area.The second stage is the main body,that is,the development details of shanxi elementary society from 1950 to1953.The fourth part: analyzes the effect and limitation of shanxi cooperative movement.The effect can be divided into two parts,that is,the influence on shanxi and the influence on the whole cooperative movement.Limitations are divided into parts that are not sufficient for reflection.By reproducing the details of the cooperative movement at that time,we,as observers,can partially peep into the society at that time,the people and things in the society,in an attempt to gain a deeper understanding of the movement.That era provides us with reference and inspiration for the current rural,agricultural and peasant problems.In short,this paper takes the agricultural cooperative movement in Shanxi Province as the research object,trying to restore the historical details of the agricultural cooperative movement at that time,clarify the role of theagricultural cooperative movement in the national agricultural cooperative movement,and the economic reasons behind the cooperative movement.To the credit of sweeping the country’s agricultural cooperative movement promoted the productivity increases to a certain extent,improve the farmer’s production enthusiasm,in some respects such as support for the national important events,suppress counterrevolution,support the war to resist us industrial construction,to break the blockade the situation of China,played a big role.It is undeniable that there were some problems in the co-operative movement,but we should consider its rationality,reasonableness and necessity in the context of that era to understand the movement at that time.
