A Study On The Construction Of Chinese Low-Level Identity "X Jiu Hao"

“X Jiu Hao”(X??)is frequently used in modern Chinese to express a subjective evaluation of a phenomenon.From the perspective of construction,this paper not only analyzes the composition,syntactic features,semantic relations and pragmatic functions of“X Jiu Hao”,but also studies its formation,motivation and mechanism.The paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.This part mainly focused on the significance.The author introduce the theoretical research of constructional grammar and previous research on the construction of “X Jiu Hao”.Furthermore,the theoretical basis,research methods as well as corpus sources are also included in this part.The second chapter is the component analysis of the construction “X Jiu Hao”.This part mainly analyzes the composition and semantic features of the variable “X”,and takes the internet buzzword “Ni Kaixin Jiu Hao” as an example to explore and analyze its emotional color.The author summaries the construction meanings presented by “X Jiu Hao” through combining the existing tense with the premature tense.The third chapter is the syntactic study of the construction “X Jiu Hao”.This part used the specific sentence examples to analyze the construction of “X Jiu Hao” in different syntactic distributions,syntactic functions and co-occurrence components.The high-frequency co-occurrence conjunction with “Zhi yao/Zhi” emphasizes that the speaker satisfies the current state,strengthens low-level identification,and expresses low requirements for subjective identification of conditional clauses.The fourth chapter is the textual pragmatic function of the construction “X Jiu Hao”.As for the pragmatic function,the construction has the subjective judgment function,the subjectivity and the interactive subjectivity,as well as express the speaker's subjective identification and the positive emotional attitude.In addition,the construction has different interpersonal functions in different contexts: compromise function,discourse relaxation function,consolation function and suggestion function.This construction is closely related to the context content.On the one hand,it functions in quoting the previous text and echo,and in text cohesion.On the other hand,it's used not only in the dialogue style but also in the narrative style.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the formation,motivation and generation mechanism of the construction “X”.For the formation of the province's shrinking structure,the most fundamental motivation is economic principles,followed by the principles of politeness and frequency.The generation mechanism is ranked according to the magnitude of the force: omitting and tightening,highlighting and reanalyzing the syntactic position,and rhythmic constraints.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the previous conclusions,and explains the shortcomings and limitations in the research.
